Dr Richard Record MChiro BSc (Hons) D.C.
Chiropractor

Dr Richard (Doctor of Chiropractic) specialises in the treatment of lower back pain, sciatica, disc problems including slipped/herniated disc and pain caused by arthritis of the spine. He is licensed to take and read x-rays and refer for all imaging including MRI and CT scans.
​
With a first degree in Applied Biology, Richard initially worked in IT after university and worked in London for several years. However, driven by a strong desire to help others, and to combine this with a real passion for Anatomy, Physiology and Neurology, Richard chose to pursue a five-year, full time Chiropractic Masters programme.
​
Following his studies, and having worked in various clinics, Richard returned to his home county of Devon and started working in Exeter in 2010. His aim and the founding principle for the clinic was to bring the most comprehensive and advanced, non-surgical treatment to the area.
​
Richard lives in Exeter with his wife Sarah, a nurse at the Royal Devon & Exeter hospital, daughter Lily (age 14) and son Max (age 12).
​
In his spare time you will find Richard out on his bike, playing tennis, windsurfing or sailing a dinghy. Richard recently completed his first 100-mile cycle ride, the Nello in support of the local Force cancer charity. Richard is also a keen skier and snowboarder.
Jack Glanvile BSc (Hons)

​With a passion for hands-on treatment, Jack embarked on a three-year, full time degree course in Sports Therapy, during which he honed his skills and acquired the knowledge needed to excel in his field.
​
Jack specialises in the non-surgical treatment of complex shoulder, knee and hip complaints. His ability to address the underlying causes of these painful problems, helping people avoid invasive procedures showcases his profound understanding of human anatomy and his ability to provide the most effective solutions for his patients.
​
Jack's proficiency in the use of hands-on techniques, combined with the latest in medical equipment like Radial Shockwave Therapy further distinguishes him as a cutting-edge practitioner in the field of sports injury treatment. By utilising the power of advanced medical technology, he can deliver targeted and efficient treatments, promoting faster recovery and empowering athletes to return to peak performance.

Jack's expertise doesn't end there. He has also gained further qualifications in Spinal Decompression Therapy and MLS Laser Therapy.

Living in Exeter, Jack has become an integral part of the community, enriching the lives of those around him with his compassionate care and unparalleled skill. As a true sports enthusiast, he finds great enjoyment in supporting the Exeter Chiefs, and you will often find him in the stands at Sandy Park, cheering on his beloved team.

Lawrence Cavanagh BSc (Hons)

Lawrence has spent a significant part of his life deeply involved in sports and the fascinating world of the optimum function of the human body. Rugby and snow sports have been true passions, and his journey to helping people began with an injury sustained whilst playing rugby. That experience sparked a curiosity about how our bodies can recover from such setbacks.
Embarking on a three-year, full-time degree in Sports Therapy, all sorts of knowledge about helping people recover back from injuries was learned as part of the course. Becoming particularly fascinated by the intricate processes of healing and rehabilitation led to an interest in addressing issues related to complex knee and shoulder joints. With commitment to non-surgical treatment methods comes a belief in harnessing the body's natural healing mechanisms to aid recovery.
Born in Ascot but calling the cosy village of Cove, just outside of Tiverton home since the age of eight. With a love for sports starting at a young age and still enjoying activities like kayaking, walking, and paddleboarding. Lawrence has also dedicated many years to the Cullompton Rugby Club.
Outside of professional life, you'll often Lawrence on the snowy slopes during the winter months, revelling in the thrill of snow sports. At home he lives with a faithful companion, Wilf, a lively 9-year-old lurcher cross-spaniel. Together they like to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding the beautiful countryside of Devon.

Sophie

Sophie has spent a significant part of her life working in a front of house role, enjoying helping people along the way. Outside of professional life, Sophie has lived in Exeter a majority of her life, but enjoyed a gap year to Australia to visit family, Running has always been an interest and a passion of hers where she has achieved 5 half marathons so far with 3 races coming up for 2025! Sophie has two young boys which keep her busy and has been enjoying teaching them to swim and play football on the weekends along with walks in the countryside.​
Sarah

Sarah lives in Exeter with her husband, two children and a cockapoo called Rocky-Bear. Favourite pastimes, when not being a taxi driver for the kids include dog walks and regular trips to the gym.
